The Ribbon Cutting and Grand Opening of Russell Medical Center’s Benjamin Russell Center for Advanced Care was an exciting event!

This new facility is a wonderful addition to the Alexander City, Alabama community. Its primary focus is senior care.

There are only 18 Board Certified Geriatricians in the state of Alabama to serve approximately 900,000 residents over the age of 65. Russell Medical Center is proud to have one of those physicians, Dr. Robert Edwards, residing at the Advanced Care Center to serve its population.

In opening ceremony remarks, RMC’s CEO, Mr. Jim Peace stated, “The difference for our community, maybe unlike other small communities, is that we have this lake here, so we’re seeing more and more families move to the lake with the intention of retiring here, and that retirement creates health care needs.”

Design Innovations is honored to service Russell Medical Center for all its Interior Design needs. Designing the interior of this new facility has been an honor. It’s opening marks the beginning of transformative care in Alexander City, Alabama.
